Fans Cry Disrespect As Kobe Bryant and Steph Curry Ranked Low in Yet Another Michael Jordan Dominated List

Many regard Michael Jordan as the greatest player of all time. He dominated the NBA during the 90s and won the three-peat twice with Chicago Bulls. However, since his retirement, he has been a part of every all-time NBA debate. Another name that entered these debates is Kobe Bryant.

SportingNews.com recently released a list of top peaks in NBA history. As usual, Michael Jordan tops the list, followed by LeBron James and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, respectively. While these are among the best in NBA history, but fans didn’t digest Kobe Bryant’s low position in the list. Kobe was placed eighth on the list and this made his fans unhappy.

In fact, Warriors star Curry was ranked as low as 12th on the list, just behind Tim Duncan. Fans have gone berserk over these ratings and have reacted to them on Twitter.

NBA Twitter reacts to Kobe Bryant and Stephen Curry’s low ranking in a recent list

SportingNews‘ list of top peaks in NBA history featured Michael Jordan as the number 1. LeBron James and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar followed him on the list.

However, fans were unhappy with Kobe’s eighth rank and Stephen Curry’s 12th rank on the list. Here are some of the Twitter reactions to the list.

Kobe has always been a part of the GOAT debate among the NBA circles. What set him apart from others was his loyalty and longevity. Kobe spent his entire career with the Lakers and won five NBA championships in the process. He stuck with the team through their ups and downs. This is something hard to find nowadays, as there are a few players who have stayed with the same franchise throughout their careers.

Stephen Curry is another player who has been with the same franchise so far. Many have credited him with revolutionizing the game of basketball by inspiring teams to focus more on three-pointers. Not just Curry and Kobe, many fans wanted Hakeem Olajuwon higher on the list, who couldn’t even make it to the top 12.
