Reports: LeBron James’ Lakers on the Verge of Losing Key Figure in Exchange for Wizards Star

Los Angeles Lakers were inflicted upon a heavy defeat at the hands of defending champions, Milwaukee Bucks. LeBron James scored 27 points in 35 mins as the Lakers lost 116-131 at home. This was the Lakers’ 29th loss of the season and they sit 9th in the Western Conference now.
LeBron James had a decent outing against the Bucks yesterday. However, it wasn’t to save the night for the Lakers. The Lakers were busy throughout the off-season signing players to fight for the championships. However, that hasn’t worked out well for them so far. Russell Westbrook has been one of the new signings to struggle this season for the 17-time champions.
However, with still some time left for the trade deadline, the Lakers could make some moves to improve their roster. But according to the latest Sports Illustrated report, Wizards star Spencer Dinwiddie is available and the Lakers could try to make an offer for him.

LeBron James’ Lakers could offer Talen Horton-Tucker for Spencer Dinwiddie
King James is in top form despite being 37. However, the Lakers know that he is closer to his retirement than ever and want to win a championship with him on their side. With the trade deadline approaching, they could reportedly bring in Spencer Dinwiddie in exchange for Horton-Tucker.
“L.A. continues to canvas the league but with limited flexibility (Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn are the only players outside of James, Davis, and Russell Westbrook who are signed to anything more than a minimum deal) and assets (Horton-Tucker has value, but his struggles shooting has certainly impacted it) there has not been any traction yet on anything of substance,” Chris Mannix reported.
