Earlier last month, bodybuilder and online fitness sensation, Jo Lindner had openly expressed his fear of dying due to his rare muscle condition, Rippling muscle disease. His primary concern was over-training, which might predispose him to heart attacks. Popularly known as Joesthetics, he shared why he kept his competitions limited and took enough time to heal and rest. However, life stands unpredictable, as witnessed in this update from his close friend and training partner. Noel Deyzel confirmed the devastating news and posted a heartfelt tribute to the late icon.

He expressed his emotions, reflecting on their shared experiences. Deyzel’s sentiments were echoed by many fans and fellow influencers. They took to social media to share their thoughts and offer their blessings to the bodybuilder who tragically passed away in the arms of his beloved.

In an interview with Bradley Martyn, when Martyn tried to downplay the effects of the Rippling disease, Jo alarmed, “Let’s be honest, the heart is also a muscle and that’s my biggest concern. What if I get such a bad cramp that my heart gets a cramp? (…) That’s why I have stayed away from bodybuilding competitions too much, because I will take all these diuretics.”

Strangely, it was not his heart that claimed his life. Jo Lindner died of an aneurysm in his girlfriend Nicha’s arms. This was after Jo had gifted her a custom-made necklace with her name inscribed on it. While he died under unknown circumstances, he complained about neck pain three days ago.
