“That guy dominated three separate, totally different spaces that maybe you could give him the first one that says well he was meant to do it…….. hold on maybe they had natural talents and instincts but the second and third thing that he dominated in his life those weren’t natural Instincts,” said Perkins to underscore the value of commitment. On the co-founder of IFBB’S tenth death anniversary, Arnie highlighted Weider’s contribution to bodybuilding. “He’s one of the reasons I refuse to be called self-made. Joe was a jewel. He treated me like the son he never had”, revealed Schwarzenegger. 

Furthermore, Weider never stopped being a parental figure to Arnold. Even when Conan the Barbarian actor transitioned to movies, Weider remained a confidant of the former Governor. He added, “After sending me my plane ticket, never stopped giving me business advice on bodybuilding, family, on everything.
