Competing and standing out at the biggest stage of bodybuilding in the world is no easy feat. The bodybuilding and fitness spheres are all set and highly anticipated to witness who is going to become the Mr. Olympia champion this year.
The Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, is currently flooded with ripped and muscular athletes who are praying to emerge victorious as we are in the final stages of Olympia 2023. But who are the athletes in the top three this year, according to the confirmation round? Let’s take a look.

Approximately six decades old, Joe Weider’s Mr. Olympia still continues to be the most prominent and renowned bodybuilding show in the world. As the Olympian stage has been graced by many champions since its introduction back in 1965, fans from all over the globe are excited to see who is going to lift the Sandow trophy this year.

As it turns out, the top three athletes, according to the confirmation round at this year’s Olympia are Derek Lunsford, who came second last year, Samson Dauda who came sixth last year, followed by Hadi Choopan, the reigning champion.

Ever since the introduction of Classic Physique back in 2016, Chris Bumstead has managed to rule the entire lineup with his insanely muscular and aesthetic physique. This year was no different for the Canadian bodybuilder as he won the title for the fifth consecutive time followed by Ramon Dino, who came second, and Urs who came third.
During the short speech that he gave after winning the title, Bumstead said, “I told myself that I wasn’t going to numb out my emotions suppress everything.” He continued by revealing that he injured his lat weeks before the contest. “Honestly, I tore my lat, like 10 weeks out,” Bumstead revealed.
