“Insanely Pointless”: Pro Athlete’s Freak Stunt With Weights Sparks Rage Among Bodybuilding World

The bodybuilding world gives a lot of significance and respect to proper techniques of working out in the gym. Maintaining proper fitness and regulating diet as well as exercise is not easy. Legends such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jay Cutler, and Flex Wheeler have had to give up a lot of things and worked extremely hard in order to become legends. One of the aspects was to work out in the gym in a proper manner.

A recent Instagram video featuring an athlete performing a workout routine has generated anger among many fans. The video features a well-known Italian Linebacker, who is also recognized as a social media influencer with his own podcast and coaching site. Additionally, he is an alumnus of Valdosta State.

The Instagram post by House of Highlights was uploaded recently showing Julian exercising in the gym. The man was doing half pull-ups while holding a deadweight with four plates each on his back. The workout did not look too feasible and comfortable.

The video was captioned “This workout looks INSANE”. The workout looked chaotic because Julian did one pull-up with a lot of effort and the second time he was enraged. He threw the weights on the floor and dismantled the equipment in a fit of anger.

Fans were not happy with the video and even bodybuilding and nutrition experts seemed to be criticizing the exercise.

Dr. William Wallace, a nutritionist, commented, “This workout also looks inadvisable…” The comment received numerous replies questioning its advisability, to which he responded, “The exercise itself is a great one. It’s the execution of it here that is inadvisable.”

Another person said “Looks like he’s training to unlock spinal dysmorphia” while another individual hilariously said, “My back, left the chat”.

A person even gave a shoutout to the coach in the video saying, “Shoutout to @bulletproofbackman!!! Love to see this.” To which he replied with a thanks. However, another fan commented  “Insanely pointless” to the video.

Julian’s stunt, intended to showcase his strength and resilience, ignited a fierce debate within the bodybuilding community.
