After Chris started answering fan questions one by one, there was a question by @Juliosfitness_ who asked, “How has bodybuilding changed your life in a way that most people don’t see?” “Good question, it’s a tough one,” he replied smiling. He then said, “A huge part of what it’s changed is the gratitude for the people around me.” Chris elaborated that bodybuilding helped him gain trustworthy people around him who encouraged his dreams of bodybuilding.

After this question, came the complicated one by @James.caroll.13 who asked, “What’s Chris’s most significant failure in becoming who he is today?” The IFBB pro gave a short laugh and said, “I think coming second at the Olympia, for the second time. I had a lot of reasons to be second.” He also explained, “It made me realize how life is gonna always throw sh** at you, and you can’t let that be an excuse. You have to get to work no matter what’s coming your way…” In the past, Chris has consistently displayed his humility, which he once again demonstrated with this answer. Additionally, he had previously responded to a fan comment, revealing both his humorous and intelligent side.

The 28-year-old had gone to Instagram to share an interesting update. The Instagram story was a screenshot of a user’s comment talking about how stretch marks on bodybuilders looked ugly. The comment read, “Those stretch marks are soooo ugly and they get bigger when you get pump wtf.”

This note was not ignored by the 4-time Olympia winner and he replied with, “Good thing I’m uglier than my stretch marks so no one notices them.” Bumstead wrote this in his story, taking a jibe at his appearance to teach a lesson to the person in question.
