“This Brings Me Joy”: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Pets Doing Morning Cardio Leaves Fitness Community Feeling Ecstatic

76-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger often shares snippets of the time he spends with his pets. Earlier, the Arnold Classic founder uploaded a clip of them playing in the massive yard on his property. The seven-time Mr. Olympia filmed his beloved dogs, Schnitzel and Dutch, miniature horse Whiskey, and his internet-famous donkey, Lulu, playing together.

However, since this is Arnold Schwarzenegger we are talking about, the bodybuilding legend also managed to motivate his followers with this clip. The Austrian Oak turned the video of his pets playing into workout motivation through the caption. While it’s difficult to say how motivated they felt, the adorable animals melted their hearts.

The Austrian Oak’s passion for fitness and bodybuilding goes beyond winning seven Olympia titles. Despite being 76, the former governor wishes to improve everyone’s life through fitness. Hence, The Terminator tries to motivate people with every chance he gets. “Morning cardio is important,” Arnie wrote in the caption, reminding everyone to get their daily dose of cardio.

Every morning, Arnold Schwarzenegger wakes up, feeds his pets, and spends time with them. Playing with his pets starts off Arnie’s day, and then he bikes to Gold’s Gym. Hence, it’s safe to say that the bodybuilding legend gets enough cardio. After going through three heart surgeries due to a valve defect, the former Mr. Olympia knows the importance of maintaining cardiovascular health.

Hence, he motivates others to do the same. Arnie’s love for bodybuilding has culminated in the Arnold Sports Festival. However, the five-time Mr. Universe didn’t stop there. In 2023, he started a dedicated fitness newsletter to help people integrate fitness into their daily lives. Since then, Arnie has regularly motivated his social media followers as well. The 76-year-old’s Instagram followers were ecstatic to see his pets.

The fitness community loves Arnie’s pets

“This brings me joy,” wrote one fan after watching Schwarzenegger’s pets running around. One fan said Arnold Schwarzenegger was lucky. “I love this. How fortunate you are to be able to enjoy your animals! (I) love that you love critters” commented the fan. “The cutest! We love to see Lulu!” wrote another fan for video conference crashing Lulu.

“The dog said, catch me if you can,” wrote one fan after watching Lulu chase after Dutch. “Dogs gotta get the pump as well…” wrote one fitness enthusiast. While we don’t know if Arinie’s post boosted the fan’s motivation to go do cardio, his pets surely boosted their mood.
