Boxing icon Mike Tyson took to Twitter and sent out positive vibes towards golfing ace Tiger Woods. The consensus GOAT on the course suffered a devastating injury to his right leg after being involved in a single-car crash. The accident took place in Los Angeles as Woods was driving his 2021 Genesis GV80 SUV relatively over the limit.
Chiefly, Tiger Woods crossed the wrong side of the road and crashed onto a hillside, sustaining damage to his leg. He was reportedly calm and lucid when medical authorities arrived at the site of the incident.
Woods’ longtime agent Mark Steinberg came out with a statement following the crash that damaged the golfing great.

“Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries. He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support.”

‘Iron’ Mike Tyson was one of the many who came out and sent his regards to Woods and hoped for a speedy recovery. The accident is sure to sideline Tiger Woods for a meaningful period based on the injuries sustained. It’s unclear how long Tiger Woods is to be placed out of commission as the situation is still developing.

Golf Digest reports that a rod was inserted into Woods’ tibia with screws and plates for stabilizing the bones in the foot. Woods suffered what is known as a ‘Comminuted Open Fracture to the tibia and Fibula of his right leg. Moreover, the incident came as a shock to the sports world, especially when looking at the severity of the incident.
