YouTube sensation Jake Paul has long been looking for a boxing match against former UFC champion Conor McGregor. ‘The Problem Child’ first called out the Irishman back in 2020 offering him $50 million for a fight. However, nothing came of it and since then he has taken to social media on multiple occasions trying to take shots at the MMA phenom.

Therefore it was not surprising when Paul decided to throw some more jibes at McGregor leading up to his fight with Tommy Fury. Paul is set to face WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury‘s brother on February 25 in Saudi Arabia but was not shy about his chances with the former UFC champion.

Jake Paul reveals his chances against Conor McGregor
In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Paul made some bold claims about his chances against McGregor. According to him, ‘The Notorious’ was afraid to box him because he was the bigger and stronger fighter. Moreover, he added that McGregor was a far smaller fighter than Anderson Silva who Paul has already beaten inside the squared circle.

“When I first time called out Conor McGregor, everyone thought I was crazy, but now I guarantee you he won’t ever box me because I would beat him and he knows that. He is smaller than Anderson Silva who’s bigger, stronger, faster, better striker than a smaller guy and Conor McGregor is not going to want to fight me,” said Paul.

Although Paul does make a good point about the size difference between Silva and McGregor, many believe this fight would certainly not be a one-sided affair. However, McGregor is currently not too interested in boxing but rather in his bread and butter, MMA. The Irishman is set to make his return to the UFC against Lightweight contender Michael Chandler. Moreover, he will also take over as coach in the latest season of TUF.

“Boxing fans should learn from MMA fans to support fighters. McGregor 1-3 in his last four fights. Choked out, knocked out. His opponent is 1-3 in his last four fights, knocked out and choked out. But it’s a massive fight and the fans don’t care one bit,” he wrote.

On the surface, this might seem like a valid point. However, the level of competition that these fighters went through is far greater than any opponent Paul has faced in his career. Moreover, with the YouTube sensation now looking to make a stint in MMA he could put his money where his mouth is.
