However, Shaquille O’Neal has been receiving some flack from the NBA world. In a recent game between Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, Anthony Davis, a player for the Lakers, got injured when he accidentally got hit by Kevon Looney. The injury forced Davis to drop out from the match mid-game. Thereafter, in the post-game show, O’Neal was seen laughing while discussing the injury which prompted the NBA world to call out the retired player on the same.

However, O’Neal cleared the air and explicitly stated that the conversation had nothing to do with the injury. He stated, “I ain’t making fun of nobody, that’s not what I do. But I do know you’re not going to stop me from playing in that Game 6.” However, it is safe to say that O’Neal is still adored by the public at large. In a resurfaced photo of himself and former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, both the legendary figures received immense love from the fans.

Film Scenes posted a picture in which 7’1 O’Neal was towering over 5’10 Tyson. While posing to the camera, both of them were enjoying each other’s presence as they shook hands; showcasing their mutual respect for each other.
