Adrien Broner Confirms Boxing Return; Shares Date, Opponent, and Venue Details

Adrien Broner is a very popular boxer who has held titles in multiple weight classes in professional boxing. Broner, who made his professional debut in the year 2008, has had till now a total of 40 professional bouts in the game. Well known for his brass personality and controversial statements, over the years, ‘The Problem’ has squared off with some elite fighters in the sport. Manny Pacquiao, Mikey Garcia, Marcos Maidana, and Shawn Porter are some names on Broner’s resume that stand out and are worth recalling.

Broner fought last in February 2021 and has remained inactive thereafter. His opponent was Jovanie Santiago; the fight went the whole distance of the scheduled twelve rounds, and Broner won via decision. Now it has been a year and three months since Adrien Broner walked into the ring. While his fans wondered about The Problem’s possible future, Broner recently announced his comeback fight in boxing.

Adrien Broner took to Instagram and announced a comeback fight against Figueroa.

As far as the date and venue are concerned, the following is what ‘The Problem’ wrote in his caption:

This s**t was posed to happen years ago but I ain’t complaining see y’all in #Chiraq #July23rd #WorkOrDie🆎

According to Broner’s post, he will most likely return on July 23 and the bout will take place in Chiraq.
