After Suffering From Non-stop ‘Physical Abuse,’ Bodybuilding Legend Arnold Schwarzenegger Had the Most Unbelievable Moment With Rival Sylvester Stallone In 2012

Arnold Schwarzenegger started his journey as a bodybuilder, and now he is recognized as an actor, motivational speaker, and former governor of California. The veteran athlete has endured many injuries and tough times throughout his career. But back in the day, he once had the most unbelievable moment, when he found his good friend Sylvester Stallone lying beside him, injured. 

Back in 2012, ‘The Terminator’ star completed his shoot for two movies, ‘The Last Stand’ and ‘The Expendables 2’. Looking forward to an action-packed year ahead, Schwarzenegger got some injuries on his shoulders during the shooting of action scenes. He took to Twitter and wrote, “After all the action, stunts had physical abuse shooting The Expendables 2 and The Last Stand, it was time for a little tune up on my shoulder.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone were among the top action heroes of their times. Both of them have given stellar performances in movies that have turned out to be the biggest hits. In addition, the two also starred in a couple of movies together, the most notable of them being ‘The Expendables’ series. 

Apparently, while the bodybuilding legend was in the hospital for his shoulder surgery, he found his co-star and good friend Sylvester Stallone just beside him. Even the latter had some injuries in the shoulder. Schwarzenegger said, “Look who was coincidentally waiting in line behind me for his shoulder surgery. Now we’re ready for another round of great times and action when we shoot The Tomb.”

Sylvester Stallone lauds his friend Arnold Schwarzenneger 

The seven-time Mr. Olympia winner once organized a charity event at Gold’s Gym in Venice. The ‘Rocky’ actor was also present there, and he appreciated the philanthropic work of his friend.  

Stallone shared their picture together on Instagram, and wrote in the caption, “Congratulations to my great friend @schwarzenegger who had a incredibly successful charity event to benefit the children THE AFTER SCHOOL ALLSTARS … Still looking strong as a Bull!”
