YouTuber Jake Paul has received a lot of backlash from the boxing community for lacing up the gloves and stepping inside the squared circle in professional bouts. However, that doesn’t seem to have shattered his will to move forward in the sport.

He has bagged his third pro-fight and will appear in action on April 17. While Paul’s boxing career appears to be on the rise, he also continues to be a prominent name in the YouTube circuit.

Meanwhile, ‘The Problem Child’ has recently opened up on his dual career and has claimed YouTube to be the harder one. It can further garner more backlash from the hardcore fight fans, but Jake Paul has displayed some facts to validate his claim.

In interaction with I am Athlete Podcast, ‘The Problem Child’ gave several insights on his YouTube career and revealed why it’s harder than the sweet science.

“Doing YouTube is one of the hardest things in the world. It’s work ethic, it’s marketing, it’s being creative, it’s being entertaining. You have to get people to come back every single day. There’s 7 billion people in this world. Why is it that you can only name 10 Youtubers? It’s because they are actually talented and dedicated. Like I made videos for every single day for 800 days in a row,” said Jake Paul.

He added, “And this would be controversial, and I am sure someone will clip it and take it out of context. But someone asked me on an interview, what’s harder YouTube or boxing? And I said YouTube, hands down.”

Moreover, Askren’s striking can really be suspect inside the squared circle. Meanwhile, Jake Paul can boast himself as a superior fighter if he gets a win against a pro combatant. All these factors tend to sensationalize the fight, paving the way for Jake Paul to attain more in the boxing world.
