Meanwhile, Michael’s take on the important fight undermines Floyd’s genius which has further led to the fury of fans. He said, “You’s still obsessing over this fight like it was some huge W for Floyd. It was a solid win for sure, but Canelo was 23 years old for Christ’s sake. This wasn’t the Canelo that GGG and Bivol defeated.”

Starting the conversation, El Guapo said, “I hate when the narrative switches after Floyd would make somebody look regular. Yes, Canelo was 23, with FORTY-TWO professional fights under his belt with a GREAT win over Shane Mosley.”

Saf added, “An absolutely moronic take that Canelo was green. Floyd beat a bigger, undefeated world champion who had made MULTIPLE title defenses. He would have made any version of Canelo look like an easy night’s work. Love him or hate him.”

Further, RHK the Ruler commented, “Floyd was 36 when he beat Canelo who was 23. Now tell me how old was De La Hoya when he beat Chavez? It’s sad that people have this kind of attitude towards appreciation for great fights. You could have done yourself a favor and kept your opinion to yourself, Michael. #DoWhatever.”

Then, Flight 747 stated, “Canelo had 30+ fights under his belt undefeated and at the time most people were saying Canelo was going to be the first to beat Mayweather. This was a huge W. Lmao Floyd was old Canelo was young with 30+ fights.”

Moreover, Davey Gall expressed, “He was a unified world undefeated champion mate. It was a great win. Not like canelo was a novice”
