Supporters recently gathered to bear witness to a riveting boxing encounter. It was not a clash between two world champions nor between professional boxers yet it was not less entertaining than one. Two prominent law enforcement organisations: the New York City Police Department (NYPD) and the Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD) fought against one another in an amateur boxing card. The boxing event took place in Pro-Fit Gym in Deer Park, Long Island, New York. Though beyond the spectacle, the event raised funds for different community-based programs. Safe to say, that the event was for an altruistic cause that simultaneously provided entertainment.
For the same, many spectators made sure to be present at the event and the energy at the venue was palpable. The match also assisted law enforcement to showcase their boxing abilities and athleticism. The entire card was broadcasted live on Facebook which garnered attention from the public who were quick to react.

Fans react to NYPD vs. SCPD
Smoker Talk on Facebook broadcasted the fight card on Facebook. Evidently, the card was witnessed by many at a boxing gym. The caption of the live stated, “Suffolk vs NYC in a mixed match of amateurs and Police Officers for a good cause”
One fan named Pat Russo was moved by the event to such an extent that he felt inspired to take part in the future. He stated, “I may be inspired for the next PD vs FD show Senior Citizen Division”

While one fan named Tomiko Siracusa was grateful that he got to witness the event at his own comfort and made sure to thank those in charge. He stated, “Shout out to the Broadcasters”
Along similar lines, one fan named Dwight Hovington Sr stated, “Good job Dave! Makes me want to get back in there. Lol”
Another fan named Tomiko Siracusa was moved by the event and expressed by stating, “Witness the Greatness”
