Anthony Joshua Compares Oleksandr Usyk With Floyd Mayweather: “It’s All About Skills”

Despite having the physical advantages, Anthony Joshua doesn’t seem to overlook Oleksandr Usyk as a rightful contender for the heavyweight world titles. They will collide on September 25 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Joshua’s WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles at stake. However, several people have already demeaned Usyk’s chances, since he has been a natural cruiserweight all his life.
Furthermore, a bleak performance against Dereck Chisora had urged many to believe that Anthony Joshua is way more superior to the Ukrainian elite. Nevertheless, ‘AJ’ has justified why Usyk is a threat to his status and has compared him with ‘TBE’ Floyd Mayweather.
In a chat with Ledley King, ‘AJ’ said, “I feel like people think because he is a weight below. Yeah, a southpaw fighter, a weight below, he is not made for the heavyweight division. Which I believe, if that was the case, you will never have guys like Floyd Mayweather, or you know. Six divisions champions and moved up six times. It’s all about skills.”
