Anthony Joshua Confident ‘$500 Million’ Tyson Fury Fight Will Take Place: “I Can Bring Him Out of Retirement”

This Friday, Tyson Fury reaffirmed his retirement as he vacated his Ring Magazine heavyweight title. Although Fury repeatedly reiterated his retirement following his bout with Dillian Whyte, the boxing community expected the former to come out of retirement and fight. That Fury would announce his return after the Joshua vs. Usyk II fight firmly entertained the beliefs of many in pro boxing. However, the act of vacating the Ring Magazine title came as a heart-breaker.

But just when all could do away with their expectation of seeing yet another blockbuster Fury fight, Anthony Joshua, ahead of his rematch with Usyk, in a confident statement announced he could bring Fury back.

In a recent interview, Tyson Fury made a ridiculous demand of half a billion to break out of his retirement and fight. Obviously, his remark was sarcastic, and it only trumpeted Fury‘s disinclination to see himself back in the ring. Now that Joshua states he can “a hundred percent” bring back Fury in the ring, are we to assume the staging of the unbelievable $500 Million fight? Lord knows, and only time and an unexpected turn of events will tell.

Meanwhile, this is what Anthony Joshua actually said: “Yeah, I can bring him out of retirement, 100 percent. I think he’ll bring himself out of retirement, s***. There’s nothing for him to do, isn’t it?”

“I think he’s not thought of his life after boxing, so I think he’s pretty bored. Ends up getting a dog, getting a Ferrari to keep yourself busy. There’s not much else to do. You’ve got to walk your dog now. So yeah, I think he will come out of retirement soon,” Joshua concluded by saying.
