Floyd Mayweather, the former five-weight division champ, is a big basketball enthusiast. He is often spotted enjoying NBA games on the courtside. Well, it’s only half the story of his love for this sport. ‘The Pretty Boy’ has also stepped on to the basketball court as a player on several occasions. He has also taken part in several basketball exhibitions but not for mere fun. Interestingly, the legendary boxer has got good skills at shooting the baskets.

Recently, Clutchpoints shared a clip on Twitter and wrote, “Floyd Mayweather Jr. shooting some hoops with Sam Versosa and his team in Manila. Could Floyd make a run for the All-Star Celebrity game MVP.”

The undefeated champ paid a visit to Sampaloc, Manila to dine with Verzosa, the founder of leading brand, FRONTROW. The 29-year-old entrepreneur, took him to his house where he was born. There they bonded over and did some basketball shooting.

In the clip, Mayweather appeared to be wearing a floral shirt and shorts and enjoying basketball amid the Filipino crowd. While doing so, he put the ball in the basket for an impressive four times without failing for even once. He was fast at it.

‘The Pretty Boy’ is set to go head-to-head against the star YouTuber, Deji, on November 13, at the Coca Cola arena in Dubai. It will be the third exhibition for the champ this year. Earlier, he faced Mikaru Asakura in Japan and knocked him out in a highly anticipated contest.

However, ahead of this exhibition, ‘The Best Ever’ seemed to be super relaxed. Instead of training, he showcased his basketball skills.
