Adrien Broner has once again proven why he is the multi-division world champion, as he outclassed his unknown opponent, Bill Hutchinson, on Friday night. The fight was held at the Casino Miami Jai Alai in Florida, and for 12 rounds, there wasn’t a minute when Broner struggled for a bit against Hutchinson. Although there were a lot of big claims made by his opponent ahead of their fight, but Broner walked through the fighter as he shrugged off the rust from his shoulders. Broner stepped inside the ring after a two-year break and a lot of fans were skeptical about the results of this bout.
As aforementioned, his opponent, Hutchinson, isn’t quite known well in the world of boxing. However, in 2016, ‘Hutch’ grabbed a gold medal in the Youth World Championships as a Middleweight fighter. Apparently, the 20-2-4 boxer is also a licensed attorney apart from being a fighter. Broner playfully remarked that ‘Hutch’ should serve him for one day, but Bill wasn’t in the mood for a joke. This is what he said in retaliation.

Adrien Broner’s opponent was determined to put him down
After Adrien Broner jabbed at his opponent’s profession as an attorney, Bill showed that the only thing he wanted to represent, right now, was his loss on a Friday night. In the final pre-fight press conference, he declared that Broner’s team would be regretting giving him this chance, as he has always worked hard to achieve his goals, and it’s the same this time as well. Well, he didn’t sway off his attorney’s offer right away, but he stated that they can also talk about it post the fight is done.
Furthermore, he stated, “Make no mistake in the ring, I’m gonna do everything I can to take his head clean off his shoulders.” Well, he also made it clear that he was quite certain he could win against ‘The Problem’ as he had studied his style, and it wouldn’t be much difficult to put him down on the canvas.
The 34 year old added, “Styles make fights and I have the style to beat him. I expect to see a counterpuncher throwing three shots or more at a time. But there are also times when he gets complacent. We’ve studied him.”
Ironically, nothing of the sort happened, as Broner dominated the entire fight, and won the bout by a unanimous decision. So, Broner is contemplating moving down to 140, where he is expecting to bag some major fight titles.
Adrien Broner presents a list of his potential opponents
In the post-fight interview, Adrien Broner stated that he wants to get title shots and that he’d love to take up Rolly Romero for his next fight. ‘The Can Man’ also expressed interest in fighting the winner of Josh Taylor vs. Teofimo Lopez. Interestingly, before his bout Oscar De La Hoya also tweeted him regarding his next fight’s potential offer after he was done with Bill. A lot of fans even roped in Ryan Garcia after this tweet.
Good luck @AdrienBroner have DonKing call me if you want a mega fight at 140. I’ll be busy with @jaimemunguia15 and @VergilOrtiz but I’ll make sure to answer your call. Stay blessed

Broner’s promoter, Don King, was present at the show in Miami and made it clear that they are definitely interested in De La Hoya’s offer, and even though Ryan Garcia lost the bout, they’d love to make it happen. He said, “We’ll give Oscar the opportunity, we’ll give his fighter Garcia the opportunity. Yes, I’m open for anybody and everybody.”
