Boxing Fans would have witnessed how good the social media personality Jake Paul is at boxing if everything would have gone as planned. But unfortunately, following Hasim Rahman Jr.’s weight issue, the fight could not reach fruition.

‘The Problem Child’ was most likely to make its way to the ring after a long layoff. Initially, he was set to face Tyson Fury’s brother and his heated rival, Tommy Fury. The fight created a pretty intense buzz, but Fury’s inability to travel to the USA became a hurdle. However, the 25-year-old managed to cope with this setback by replacing him with an established boxer.
Again, a new build-up and a new opponent became a storyline because of Paul’s charisma. He portrayed Rahman Jr. as the biggest test of his budding career. But in the end, nothing worked in Paul’s favor. His efforts to save the event went in vain. It also had an adverse impact on the undercard fighters.
On promised fight date, Paul took to Twitter and labeled his opponent as a ‘fraud’. He wrote, “Today was supposed to be the day I fought a “real boxer” at MSG. It wasn’t meant to be. My opponents were both frauds. I will be back. Much bigger fights ahead. Again, I want to thank all of the undercard fighters. We got you.”

Twitter users reacted to the news and had several things to say.
Why did Fans pour in comments about Jake Paul fight cancellation?
The unified lightweight champ Devin Haney reacted to the post. He wrote, “Real one”.

Another Paul fan wrote, “You would have finished him today. This spar is old and look what you did to him when you were training for Nate Robinson. Imagine now.”

Once you get to a certain point training camp is an expense. I've taken plenty of Ls for cancelled fights as a trainer/advisor. What Jake Paul did was commendable. This will go a long way for him.

Say what you want about @jakepaul but this is a very classy move and very uncommon in #boxing. https://t.co/S6BICXCqll

Jake Paul is probably the most publicly ethical boxing promoters in history so far 😂 https://t.co/Q9d3o3TNP9

This is not nothing
Promoters paying out portions of the purse to undercard fighters in situations like this is rare. Exceedingly rare.
Fantastic gesture by @jakepaul https://t.co/3ZA5xD4RgA

Another fan suggested Paul to learn from his rival UFC President Dana White.
Since you are so vocal about Dana's one aspect of management, which is poor, think you can learn another aspect of his. At UFC 200, the main event fell through because Jon Jones was caught by USADA, but the card never fell through, he made Tate vs Nunes the main event 🤷🏻♂️

Another fan asked him to fight on KSI’s undercard.
Why don’t you fight on the undercard of KSI vs Wassabi? Serious question, would be huge

Another fan accused Paul of cancelling the fight.
Jake you're a fraud, you and your team cancelled the fight a week before the deadline for Rahman to make the weight. Rahman weighed in at 206 pounds yesterday on deadline day. This fight could have still happened if you didn't get cold feet and cancel the fight

Another fan also targeted Paul, but he received a bold response from another user.
50%? Should be the full purse. What a joke. Birches about UFC not paying fighters and then pulls this fraud 😂

this man is GIFTING those people money. money that will pay for months of rent. and you're complaining about it.
in your mind, what can jake do right? nothing i'd assume

He showed u already that u should not have pulled out of the fight. He would of made that weight if he didn't stop training & stayed dieting after u pulled out. Dude came in only 1 pound over and that's after he knew the fight was called off. U blew it.

Another user claimed that Paul has ruined the payday of undercard fighters.
Jake, you should be ashamed for robbing your other fighters of a payday, since that's what your whole shtick has been about lately. You will never be a real boxer, it's time to put away childish dreams and grow up. You are nothing more than a wealthy, egocentric, narcissist.

Since nothing could be done now.
But from this disappointment, Paul would definitely take precautions before making a deal.
