Fans are always intrigued to learn about former wrestling legends and heroes’ opinions on the current combat sports scenario. While many legends choose to stay away from the limelight, others are quite happy to bask in it. Boxer Jake Paul, fresh from his recent win over UFC veteran Anderson Silva, was on the receiving end from one such WWE legend. 

WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik has always been outspoken, be it during his wrestling days or more recently on Twitter. The former wrestler has been known to show his disdain for his high-profile former colleagues such as Hulk Hogan. 

He is not kind to the famous Paul brothers either, as he has formerly been known to dish out strong language against them. Continuing this trend, Sheik took to Twitter to once again demean The Problem Child.

Sheik was responding to a tweet from media personality, Michael McCarthy aka Large. In his tweet, Large had shared a fantasy scenario where Paul would go on to face the 80-year wrestling legend in his next bout. Iron Sheik responded in his trademark trash-talking style, “ I WILL BREAK HIS F**K**G NECK WITH MY LITTLE FINGER”

The former World Champion Sheik is no stranger when it comes to bad-mouthing his opponents. He was known for his heel persona during the 80s and the early 90s.

His iconic feud with Hulk Hogan is still etched in the memory of many wrestling fans. The Iron Sheik was famous for his hard-hitting promos and immaculate villainous persona.

Jake Paul has been targeted by Sheik before

While Jake Paul has many admirers, he also has a long list of critics. The Iron Sheik is surely among his frequent critic as he has previously also downplayed the boxer’s credentials. In a tweet from 2020, the former WWE heel roared, “JAKE PAUL YOU ARE A F*C***G JABRONI. I WOULD BEAT THE F**K OUT OF YOU AND PUT YOU IN THE CAMEL CLUTCH BREAK YOUR BACK AND MAKE YOU HUMBLE YOU DUMB SON OF A B***H”.

The Problem Child remains unfazed by his detractors and continues to rack up the numbers. The recent win over Anderson Silva was his sixth, and he continues his stunning unbeaten streak.

This recent comment by The Iron Sheik has surely got the fans imagining. Jake Paul’s run of victories has caught the eyes of many bigwigs, and the wrestling legend is a prime example. Paul’s fans are already speculating about his next opponent and it’ll be interesting to see where his next challenge will lie.
