Jaime Munguia and John Ryder are now only moments away from locking horns inside the boxing ring. With the WBC Silver Super-Middleweight title on the line, the two are expected to offer a spectacular fight. While Ryder is 32-6-0, Munguia is undefeated with 42 wins. However, in his last fights, Ryder displayed impressive heart and the will to win.

Likewise, although Munguia has yet to embrace a loss in pro boxing, fans have reasons to believe that Ryder will give Jaime a run for the money. Anyway, ahead of the match as Jaime reached Footprint Center, Phoenix, he was greeted by Julio Cesar Chavez Sr.

In the video, one can see Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. hugging Jaime Munguia as the latter arrives for the fight. Soon, Chavez Sr. occupies the orthodox stance and shows Munguia a cross. While one could not hear what the two talked about, going by their body language, one could see that Chavez Sr. advised Munguia to have better head movements during the Ryder fight. And before the brief clip ended, Chavez Sr. once again laid stress on the cross. Undoubtedly, after Golden Boy shared the video on Instagram, several people from the boxing world reacted to it.

Given the kind of advice that Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. offered to Munguia, it is worth mentioning the type of advantage Munguia will have over John Ryder.

Since Jaime Munguia, 6′ 0″ is taller than 5′ 9″ Ryder, the Mexican boxer can afford to stay outside the pocket and counter with his cross the way Chavez Sr. advised him. At the same time, since Ryder will have a height disadvantage, he will try and cut the distance. Here, Munguia can let Ryder throw and miss with thoughtful head movements.
