“Can’t Take That Away From Me”: Terence Crawford Continues Roasting IBF and Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis, but This Time With Hard Earned “Diamonds”

After the IBF stripped Terence Crawford of the Welterweight belt and gave the same to Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis, then IBF Interim Welterweight champion, Crawford bemoaned the fact that Ennis was cool with being an email champion. Additionally, the 36-year-old claimed that the IBF deliberately assigned him a mandatory title defense against ‘Boots’ at a time they knew it was a must that ‘Bud’ prioritized his rematch with Errol Spence Jr. over Ennis.
In this context, following the latest interview with Fight Hub TV where ‘Bud’ sent the IBF the F word, the former Undisputed champion at 147 decided to reflect on his accomplishments through an Instagram reel. In doing so, he indirectly took a jab at both the IBF and Jaron Ennis.

Recently, speaking to Fight Hub TV, Crawford stated that the IBF “pick and choose.” In his opinion, it wasn’t necessary to strip him of the belt only two and a half months after he became the Undisputed champ at 147 with his victory over Spence Jr. However, ‘Bud’ realized that he must move on. But, before doing so, he visited his mother’s house and displayed all the belts he earned in the sport.

“Just reflecting on my accomplishments at my mama’s house. That’s where my belts at. Hard work, dedication. So, I see why y’all mad. I see why you’re all mad. Diamonds are forever,” said Crawford. By and by, looking at the WBO NABO Lightweight title he won in 2013, ‘Bud’ said, “This is where it all started. Right here, this one, in Texas.”

And before concluding, he vowed to continue shining despite all the hate. “Don’t hate just congratulate. All these beautiful accomplishments collecting dust at the same time. Terence Crawford, all day. Just continue to hate, I’mma continue to shine. History books. Earned, can’t take that away from me,” he added.
In this connection, while Crawford took shots ‘Boots’ and the IBF, it is also worth mentioning that he also declared Ennis should have waited for the Crawford fight.

Crawford wanted ‘Boots’ to wait longer than he did
Although Crawford claimed he understood how frustrated ‘Boots’ was since he had to wait for “a long time,” ‘Bud’ thought Ennis could have also settled for someone else as long as Spence Jr. vs. Crawford II wasn’t over. Likewise, the 36-year-old declared that if it were him, he would have simply refused the belt which arrived via email. “If I was him I’ll just tell them I want to fight for it. Don’t send me a belt in the mail,” said Crawford.
