The exceptional power puncher, Deontay Wilder, sent the spark through the boxing world in 2015. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ ended eight years’ delay of fans as he captured the heavyweight throne. Moreover, he made ten successful defenses of his title.

Unfortunately, Tyson Fury hammered Wilder and broke the latter’s winning streak of 42 fights.

Recently, he appeared on the podcast of former NBA champion Byron Scott, with his fiancee Telli Swift. He gave inside looks at one of the greatest events in boxing history against ‘The Gypsy King‘. While narrating, he recalled the scariest moment of his life.

‘The Bronze Bomber‘ said – “The scariest moments when you’re not ready but you’re going out there doing activities it’s going to be able to create a human being but you aren’t ready. You have to deal with the situation. So, you know, when I had her, before she came, I had one guy in college, what we want to do in and out of life, what was things we were doing to actually try to get there because talk is cheap.”

“We always talk about what we want to do but do you ever have the discussion of the plan that you’re trying to do trying to get there right. Somebody’s always talking about like bro, I ain’t gonna be able to go to school no more I got this baby on the way she’s gonna be born with. I think I should start boxing. I handle myself. People know what I mean by highlighting my business and shoes and being the best dressed.” – Wilder added.

This was the first time after a loss in the final rumble of the epic trilogy when Wilder opened up thoroughly.

The epic slugfest took place on October 9, 2021, at the jam-packed T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Prior to the showdown, the rivalry reached such an extent that both fighters gave death threats to each other. However, the fight started well, with the exchange of jabs and straight combinations.

Later on, the power behind the leather led to a total of five knockdowns. Heavy blows were exchanged and the final blow came in the 11th round, when Fury landed a lethal right hook, seizing the former champion.
