Although there isn’t much wrong with the quote itself, Johnson could come under fire for this because Tate has been labeled a ‘misogynist
by many people and is constantly attracting controversy for his over-the-top statements.

“I believe as a man I should pay for the first date, I believe I should open the car door, protect her, provide, I believe she is my woman, she should come to me with her problems and I should fix them, that makes me a sexist and horrible person, fine. You agree with the baseline and everyone agrees with the foundations of what I say but, when I build on top of it, they try to pretend I am sexist. By extension, if I have responsibility over her, then I must have a degree of authority.” He said.
