Floyd Mayweather is set to compete in another exhibition bout against Mikuru Asakura this weekend at the Saitama Super Arena. This will be Mayweather’s second outing in Japan after swiftly beating Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018.

However, it seems like ‘Money’ isn’t worried about his next opponent as he went on a shopping spree before the fight. He posted a video on his Instagram page in which he goes shopping for some luxury watches from one of Japan’s most renowned jewelers, Tadashi Fukushima.

He also went on to promote Fukushima calling him the best watchmaker in the world and trying out some of his pieces. “So it’s only right to stop in Japan and spend money on one of the best watch guys from around the world Tadashi. Every time I come to Japan I gotta check him out,” said Mayweather in the video.

However, Mayweather did not look comfortable in the video as he was sitting on the armrest of Fukushima’s seat. Fans were also quick to point this out as they reacted to the video.

It seemed like the fans saw through Mayweather’s blatant attempt to promote his jeweler. Moreover, they were not impressed by the lack of effort he put into making the video, which was clearly visible. However, ‘Money’ has other things to worry about, as he will need to be on his game against Asakura this weekend.
