A massive fight is around the corner as Errol Spence Jr. is set to face Terrance Crawford on July 29. The fight has been anticipated for the longest time and it has finally come to fruition. Subsequently, the boxing world is excited and many have already picked who they are backing, including Floyd Mayweather Sr. The retired boxer is known for his outspoken nature and does not shy away from speaking his mind. Additionally, Mayweather Sr. has been a trainer for many years.

He has personally coached Errol Spence Jr and it would not be surprising for him to pick him over Terrance Crawford. However, he took a dig at him but even that may not be surprising. Crawford recently made a bold claim that he would defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr. had he fought him. One may speculate that his recent claims did not flair well with Mayweather Sr. which provoked him to make a stunning claim about Terrance Crawford.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. takes a dig at Terrance Crawford

Mayweather Sr. was at a boxing gym and was approached by Jeff Mayweather and Justin Mayweather for an interview. Jeff Mayweather is the uncle of Floyd Mayweather Jr. while Justin Mayweather is the sibling of “Money Mayweather.”

A clip of the interview was posted on Twitter in which Mayweather Sr. revealed he did not know Terrance Crawford. Justin Mayweather asked, “Who you going to pick between Crawford and Spence?”  To which, he responded, “Crawfie?…..yaaa, I might not know who he is”
