Mike Tyson and Sylvester Stallone are two icons in the sport of boxing. Tyson is known for his fierce knockouts and larger-than-life personality, while Sylvester Stallone gave us one of the best boxing film series. He has acted in many movies but is best known for his Rocky franchise. Both of them were one of the most famous personalities in the 80s and 90s. Stallone’s contribution to the sport of boxing through his movies has earned him a spot in the Boxing Hall of Fame.
The two were also seen together at times in public. Recently, a picture was posted by @BoxingHistory which featured Sylvester Stallone and Mike Tyson. In the picture, Tyson appears to be wrapping his arms around Stallone’s shoulder. Stallone is seen posing to the camera and Tyson is seen having a good laugh.

Fans at large were left nostalgic to witness the post. User @CassiusThornicroft pointed out that one of the two in the picture is the “real champion”. They said, “Hollywood champ, Real champ” On the contrary, user @Richard Huante had nothing but praise for both legends. “Couple of great heavyweight champions that ruled the 80s,” they wrote.
Along similar lines, user @Roger Procopio claimed that ‘Rocky’ was a true fighter. They said, “Who thinks Rocky is a real fighter with Hollywood features? I found those fight scenes ridiculous. They usually are.” Meanwhile, user @Pete N Kris Salinas finds it amusing that Tyson, who was such an icon during the 90s, did not even make one single appearance in the Rocky series. “Funny that Tyson never was in any of the Rocky movies,” they said.
