Hailing from Iceland, Hafthor Bjornsson has earned fame in different fields. He took to basketball and then to bodybuilding. It was in this field that he achieved immense success as he won Europe’s Strongest Man, the Arnold Strongman Classic, and finally became the World’s Strongest Man.
Now, the Game of Thrones star is in the limelight for his remarkable body transformation. He went from 450 lbs to 317 lbs.
Hafthor dropped an image on Instagram, showing his then and now comparison. ‘The Mountain’ wrote, “2020 vs 2022. Full Thor vs Half Thor, Peak strength vs peak fitness, 205kg vs 145kg.”

Apart from the Instagram post, he took to Twitter and posted his training video. With a Billy Nelson quote, the actor elaborated on his boxing journey right from his first boxing session to today.

‘The Mountain‘ fought three exhibition matches in Dubai last year, winning one out of them- the other two matches were scored as draws.

As of now, he is training hard for his next match against Eddie Hall.
Hafthor Bjornsson: Upcoming fight
‘The Mountain’ is all set to battle against the former British strongest man, Eddie Hall, in a much-anticipated showdown. They were scheduled to exchange leather last September.
Even though Hall withdrew due to a bicep injury, Hafthor did not back away from the fight and he faced arm wrestling champion Devon Larratt.

‘The Mountain’ had said, “Yeah, I know he’s at home chilling in the sofa with his popcorn and cola. Enjoy your life buddy, I’m going to knock you out soon.”
On the other hand, Eddie is also ready to fight Hafthor. He said, “Winning is everything in this once-in-a-lifetime clash. But I know one thing – I want it more and will leave Thor lying on the floor.”
