He might be 38 years old but is still a formidable opponent, and his recent bouts are a testament to that.
Though, Benavidez Sr. is confident that his son would move up and defeat Beterbiev. As per the“Boxing scene”, he stated, “He’s a very dangerous fighter, but David is ready to take this challenge and make history in both weights.”

He also expressed that even though Beterbiev is a formidable fighter, he has aged and is not as much of a threat to Benavidez as one would assume. He adds, “He’s a f*cking animal, but you gotta understand, he’s almost 40 years old, bro.”

Mike Tyson is known for his fierce style of fighting; to the extent that many consider him to be the “Baddest man to ever live”. He weighed on Benavidez’s fighting style.
