Boxing Habit originally posted the post on their Instagram. It is safe to say that 14 million is a considerable amount of people for a boxing fight. Except when it’s Alvarez’s homecoming fight. This stat has caused a stir among boxing fans, who are in disbelief and still unimpressed by this number.
Alvarez’s successful defense against Ryder has raised a lot of questions about the Mexican’s future in the sport. And many fans want to know who the champion will be fighting next. With WBC not allowing the rematch with Dmitry Bivol at 168, it seems like the 32-year-old will have to look for a new opponent for his next fight.
