Two-time former unified heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, was unsuccessful in his recent endeavor to reclaim the heavyweight titles from Oleksandr Usyk. Adding to his misery, he also drew the ire of boxing fans for his post-fight antics. Now, amidst controversies, former WBC heavyweight title holder, Deontay Wilder opened up on his tussle with Joshua.
Wilder was in an interview with 78SPORTSTV. In conversation, Wilder opened up about his gripe with Joshua. He said, “Joshua, b*tch a*s man. This dude came to me, he came to me asking me about the fight and stuff like that. Is the money real?”

Notably, Joshua and Wilder almost signed a deal for a fight in 2018, when they were both titleholders. But the fight did not materialize as Joshua rejected the USD 50 million offer from Wilder’s team.
Moreover, he opened up about Joshua snitching to Eddie Hearn about the same. Wilder said, “Dude went back and showed Eddie every f*cking thing we talked about and said. I’m like boy, oh that sh*t killed me, bro. From another black man to another black man to go and share business and sh*t.”
He further added, “And, that sh*t killed me. Just, yeah, I lost all respect for that man.”
However, Wilder mentioned that he wishes Joshua well, irrespective of what happened.

Anthony Joshua faced Oleksandr Usyk in a sensational showdown at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on August 20th, 2o22. And, Usyk retained his titles, emerging victorious by decision. While the result might have come as a surprise to some, former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson had already predicted the outcome of the fight.
Tyson was in an interview with Haute Living. Talking about how Joshua will fare, he said, “It’s gonna be hard to beat him. It’s gonna be hard to beat Usyk because he’s fast and he out-punched Joshua with his jab. Joshua has to learn to deal with his jab. He’s too fast for Joshua.”
