Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is going to be executive producing a TV show alongside broadcasting giant ABC studios. Tyron Woodley has taken on several non-MMA endeavors even before his release from the UFC last year. A music producer, rapper, actor, and entrepreneur, Woodley has a variety of interests and detests being restricted to the mold of just being a fighter.

‘The chosen one’ is getting ready for his boxing debut against YouTube sensation Jake Paul this weekend. Woodley, with his experience as a champion and knockout power in both hands, is arguably the toughest test for the YouTuber turned professional boxer.

In a recent interview with MMA fighting’s Ariel Helwani, Woodley made the following statements, brimming with confidence and excitement for his upcoming projects.

“You can’t dim me no more. I’m lit. Like, I’m serious. Everything. Musically, I’m on a whole new level. I got some ignorant music, ignorant television show, my own television show: writer, producer, signed with ABC studios, written by the creators of Dave. My own. I’m gonna be actually executive producing it. Who does that? Show me another MMA fighters.”

Following a series of losses to some of the most decorated and dangerous welterweights in the division, such as Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington, and Vicente Luque, Woodley moved on from the sport of MMA.

A win over Jake Paul this weekend will not only increase his stock with his estranged MMA fan base but also help him publicize his television and musical projects. And looking at his demeanor a few days before the fight, it seems like Woodley is more than ready for this upcoming challenge.
