“Is Drake Guilty?”: Fans Join Mike Tyson’s Son in Reacting to XXXTentacion’s Murder Verdict

American rapper, Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy AKA  XXXTentacion, was one of the biggest prospects in the world of music before his life was tragically taken away. His fiery lyrics and alienation-themed music gained him a cult following among young adults. XXXTentacion was murdered in a botched robbery in 2018. The news of his death sent shockwaves across the music industry and his massive fanbase. It was recently reported that the suspects in his murder were recently convicted. And this was quickly noticed by the boxing legend, Mike Tyson‘s son, Amir Tyson.

Onfroy was outside RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida, on June 18, 2018. This was when his BMW was blocked by an SUV. Moreover, he was approached by two masked men who made an attempt to rob him. Notably, Onfroy had withdrawn $50,000 from a bank and had kept it in a Louis Vuitton bag.

What followed was a 45-second struggle for the bag. And, Onfroy who was shot multiple times in the process was later pronounced dead.

A Florida jury convicted Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome on Monday. The jurors had also deliberated over this verdict for over a week. As reported by BBC, the trio faces life in prison.

The news of this verdict was later posted on social media. The younger Tyson, who was in agreement with the verdict, reposted it as a Story. Meanwhile, ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet’ has also been vocal about the untimely deaths of rappers.

Amir Tyson was not the only one who stood in solidarity with XXXTentacion

A lot of fans were in agreement with the verdict on Onfroy’s murder. In fact, they took to the comments section to share their thoughts about the same. A user named Barbara Zapatad heaved a sigh of relief while saying, “Finally. He deserves justice.”

Meanwhile, a few fans were quick to point out that money was the root of all evil. A user named Marcellus Wiley said, “1 life gone, 3 lives ruined all over $50K.”

Another user, Felicia Casale,  added, “Threw their life away to split 50k. SMH could have just gotten a job.”

In the same vein, Lena Horne opened up about the impact of Onfroy’s death. She said, “The way this young man’s death affected my son. I had to grieve for my son’s grievance.”

Conversely, a few fans blamed rapper Drake for his murder. A user named Kinzy Star mentioned, “Hope Drake is not among?”

Meanwhile, another user named Beza Abr asked, “Is drake guilty?”

However, Vixqyo was confused about Drake’s involvement. They asked, “Why did people suspect Drake?”
