Former UFC champion Chael Sonnen recently stated in one of his videos, how beautifully Roger and Floyd Mayweather worked out together. He said, “Have you guys ever watched, I’m sure you have, Roger Mayweather with Floyd, it is a dance. It is a thing of beauty.”

Apparently, the UFC champ described the beauty of Roger and Floyd Mayweather working out. Uncle Roger was a key role player in making his nephew the phenomenal boxer he is today.

The biggest boxer and the biggest UFC fighter squaring off inside a boxing ring had certainly grabbed the world’s attention. Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor met for an iconic battle on August 26, 2017. The fight lived up to the expectations and now there are rumors about a rematch between the two. However, Showtime president Stephen Espinoza believes there is an obstacle that could hinder the fight. 

While talking to FightHype.com, Espinoza was asked about the rematch and he stated, “I wouldn’t go that far. I think the UFC is still a major obstacle. I mean, having said that they were an obstacle the first time until they were convinced to go along with it.”

Furthermore, Espinoza added, “I think in retrospect, I assume they’re pretty happy with certainly financial results if not the result of the fight. But you know Floyd is out there. He’s never gonna stop trying to do you know the biggest events possible. So I have no doubt that he’d be interested in it and I have no doubt it will be a huge worldwide event.”
