Social media sensation and former kickboxer Andrew Tate has had his fair share of beef with YouTube star Jake Paul. The two seemed to feud when ‘Top G’ was on his meteoric rise on social media, becoming a superstar in just a few weeks. Things would turn bad for Tate after he was banned from the majority of social media platforms.

However, Tate might just have put aside his beef with The Problem Child as he praised Paul and also gave a harsh reality check before his upcoming bout against Anderson Silva. The former kickboxing champion recently made an appearance on UFC Bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley’s podcast and touted Paul for his boxing pedigree.

I actually quite like Jake and I think he trains really hard and I think he’s dedicated to the sport and he’s seriously actually a boxer. I don’t think he’s a YouTuber, I think he’s a boxer, someone who’s always just a YouTuber. So I know he’s a young man with a lot of money. He’s been training in boxing for a long time like a boxer, right? So I think it’s going to be hard.” said Tate.

Moreover, Tate even claimed that Silva would have a hard time against Paul despite being one of the best strikers in MMA history. He stated that age might have finally caught up with ‘The Spider’ and it would be hard to watch him get beaten by a much younger opponent.

Silva’s a legend but age is real and genetics are real and you know the time is the flyer in which we all burn and if we’re gonna have to see what happens it’s gonna be hard to watch Silva like get hurt. It’s gonna hurt,” he added.

Silva is now 47 years old and nowhere near the fighter he used to be. Paul, on the other hand, is just 25 years old and just about to reach his athletic prime. While Silva might have the experience to beat Paul, father time almost always prevails, as Tate stated.
