Hasim Rahman Jr’s inability to make the promised weight led to the cancellation of the highly anticipated showdown at Madison Square garden. Certainly, it was a big setback for Jake Paul, who put in all efforts to keep the scheduled event alive earlier this month after the withdrawal of Tommy Fury. However, ‘The Problem Child’ unveiled on Thursday that he knew about the disaster before it actually happened.
The 25-year-old exposed Rahman Jr’s intentions by leaking the texts between his promoter Nakisa and Greg Cohen (Rahman Jr.’s promoter).

In the first episode of his weekly show, the Ohio-based boxer came up with some burning storylines. One of them was the cancellation of his fight with an established heavyweight boxer, Rahman Jr.
While reading out loud the exchange of information between promoters, Paul said, “He [Greg Cohen] says I’m a fan of Jake’s and wish him continuing success as well. He’s basically exposing the fact that they weren’t going to come in on weight during five weeks. Greg Cohen, the promoter again says regardless the kid was milking himself and I did the honorable thing and told u the truth-most people would have waited till the day of the weigh-in. I don’t play like that.”
Before this, Paul admired Cohen for being honest because the latter shared the information one week before the actual weigh-in that his fighter was not planning on making weight.
