Established in 2007, it has continually evolved, amassing an impressive roster of elite fighters and captivating audiences with thrilling events. Although, there have been criticism over the actual worth of their business, it is hard to deny their impact on popular culture.

Despite this, one of the co-founders of the team recently revealed why there has been a shift in the dynamics of the team. In addition, while expressing gratitude towards Floyd for his contributions he clarified that he was no longer actively involved with the Money Team.

TMT co-founder reveals why he trusts Floyd Mayweather Jr.

In a recent appearance on the Iced Coffee Hour Podcast, the co-founder claimed that he handed away his ownership to ‘Money’. However, he maintained that he was still an owner on paper but did not take part in the day to day activities of the organization.

I have ownership of it, but I pretty much gave it to Floyd. Because Floyd knows I’m doing my thing, just told Floyd thank you for everything. So he got a whole new team running it. I’m not active whatsoever with the Money Team. But yeah, on paper, I still have ownership.” he said

While the co-founder acknowledges his ownership status, it is clear that he has chosen to entrust the day-to-day operations to Mayweather and the new team. This decision reflects a recognition of ‘TBE’s’ influence, expertise, and ability to lead TMT to new heights. This was not all as the founder also revealed a remarkable aspect of his journey and the unexpected collaborations it fostered. Mayweather’s influence led the cofounder to have encounters with two global icons, Justin Bieber and Mike Tyson.

The co-founder acknowledges Mayweather as the trailblazer who paved the way for their entry into the business. His mentorship led to encounters with renowned figures such as Tyson and  Bieber. These meetups would eventually lead to collaborations with Nelk, Full Send, and Happy Dad which made the business grow substantially.

I always give credit to Floyd for being the first person to get into this business. Floyd led me to Mike Tyson, Floyd led me to Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber led me to Nelk. Nelk led me to Full Send and Happy Dad, you know? Like, I always go back – Floyd led me to Bieber, and Bieber led me to Kyle and Steve, and now we have the Full Send and Happy Dad.” he added
