What was called an upset win took place at the Aware Super Theatre in Sydney when the former UFC veteran Mark Hunt stopped the former rugby star in the 4th round with a flurry of heavy hands.

The highly anticipated crossover was expecting favorite Williams would maintain his perfect record, but did not happen. The 48-year-old out-of-shape Hunt stepped inside the arena with bad intentions. This was going to be the last fight of his career, and he made it spectacular. Though he was lagging behind on the scorecard, the offense he took in the fourth round turned the tables.

He dropped Willaims with a nice overhand first. However, Williams gathered himself but could not continue. The referee stopped the fight because Willaims was taking punishment without showing any signs of defense or offense.

The 37-year-old turned pro in 2009. He was on a winning streak of 10 fights and was the heavy favorite for the showdown. He was doing good till Hunt hurt him badly. Williams appeared good on footwork and was using the jab to maintain a distance. But finally, his poor defense exposed his skills when he tried to return favors in the close slugfest.

His chin appeared glassy, which could not bear one shot. This is where professional boxers stand taller when it comes to real battle in the ring.
