Mike Tyson was one of the most feared boxers of his time. His strength and speed were so unmatched that they sent chills down his opponent’s spine every time he stepped foot inside the boxing ring. Despite being shorter and leaner than most of the other heavyweights of the time, Tyson managed to use his uncommon strength to establish himself as one of the greatest boxers ever. And, as a fan, one wouldn’t like to be punched in the gut or worse in the face by the ‘baddest man on the planet’. And, a recent guest on his podcast had a rather odd request to the former champ.
In a recent episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, the 56-year-old was joined by magician and entertainer Criss Angel. And, the two remembered an old cartoon clip wherein Tyson punches the magician in the cut. And, watching that clip, Angel made a request to the former heavyweight champion.

Angel’s request for Mike Tyson
On the podcast, the magician discussed his TV show and how people are enjoying the show. And, he further compared his show to a concert. To this, discussion Tyson added a rather odd statement and told his guest that he should get a cartoon.
Hearing this, Angel shared a funny instance on the podcast. For context, in Mike Tyson’s cartoon series, the 55-year-old magician made a feature, not in a way one would expect him to. Angel said, “In your cartoon you punch my cartoon in the face so we snipped that out.”

Then all three went on to watch the cartoon where Tyson punches Angel. In the cartoon, Tyson is not happy with the fact that Angel doesn’t do magic and just does illusion to fool the viewers. ‘Iron’ Mike believes that it’s a mean thing to do to kids. So he walks up to the stage where the magician is performing and lands a punch right on his face. After watching the episode, and considering the real-life implications of such a punch from one of the greatest boxers ever, Angel said, “Let’s just make sure that doesn’t happen in real life.”
