To avoid paying ‘crazy’ taxes in California and to benefit from the Puerto Rican tax laws, Logan Paul moved to Puerto Rico with his younger brother, Jake. The two are currently occupying a Dorado mansion in Puerto Rico worth $13 million. Having settled in WWE, Paul made this move. However, he faced criticism as he called out rapper ‘Bad Bunny’ for ‘exploiting’ the Puerto Rican tax laws, the same laws he was taking advantage of in his own endeavor.

Unlike Logan Paul, who basically settled in Puerto Rico, ‘Bad Bunny’ was born and raised in that land. Hence, following Paul’s accusations, fans took to social media and condemned him and his words.

Some called Paul a ‘colonizer’ whereas, some called him a hypocrite. Reportedly, wealthy Americans are moving to Puerto Rico in order to avoid federal income and capital gains tax. Similarly, YouTuber Logan Paul moved his show from California to Puerto Rico so that he could benefit from the Puerto Rican tax deal.

Fans confront Logan Paul on Facebook over his ‘exploiting’ comments about the Puerto Rican rapper ‘Bad Bunny’

Logan Paul recently told Philip DeFranco that the Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny had privately taken advantage of the same tax program that the rapper was publicly condemning. Paul said, “So, I see this music video that has stuck me in the middle of it; that’s surrounded by context that makes me look like a vulture in Puerto Rico. Again, while I love Bad Bunny, I cannot personally support the hypocritical nature of his exploitation.”

On Facebook, a fan said, “But bad bunny was born in Puerto Rico. Logan Paul has taken too many punches to the head.”

Meanwhile, someone commented by saying, “Bad Bunny does not qualify for the tax break cause he lives there, lol.”
