Towards the end, Tyson entertained a very genuine question regarding overzealous fans. According to the 55-year-old phenomenon, embracing overzealous fans with affection is the best way of dealing with them. He said, “Hug him, love him.”
Contrary to this, though, when Tyson encountered an over-aggressive fan earlier on a flight from Chicago, he unloaded a flurry of punches that made world headlines.
The incident caught heavy media attention. However, witnesses claimed that the guy involved pushed Tyson to the limit. Reportedly, he even threw a water bottle at the legend and when Tyson asked him to calm down, he paid no heed.
Eventually, Tyson lost his patience and bloodied the passenger’s forehead. Later, Tyson left the flight and the aggressive passenger received primary medical care.
Before this particular incident, Tyson had received a lot of attention for his calm and composed demeanor, an entirely different approach toward a man who pulled out a gun in a comedy club.
Earlier, this year, Tyson came across a fan at a rooftop comedy show in Hollywood. According to reports, the youngest heavyweight champion even hugged the unidentified man and calmed him down after the latter put the entire club in panic by pulling out a gun. Tyson’s this ice-cool behavior differed totally from what he is famous for.
