Mike Tyson Pays Tribute to Larry King and Hank Aaron

Mike Tyson is unquestionably the biggest athlete to come out of combat sports. Right from his prime, until his retirement, ‘Iron’ Mike accrued vast fame and glory. He became a flamboyant star of the sport and reached the top in no time.

While he was on his roadway to be the best, the former heavyweight champion made exuberant contacts across top-graded verticals, ranging from sport to entertainment. Recently, Tyson shared an image on his official Instagram handle wherein he paid tribute to his long-time mates, Larry King and Hank Aaron.

He wrote, “Always had good conversations with @larrykingnow RIP to him and baseball legend Hank Aaron.”

Larry King was an iconic show host, prominently one of the most renowned TV personalities in the USA. He ran his own show named ‘Larry King Live’ for 25-years. King succumbed to COVID-19 and lost his life to the virus.

King was a dear friend to Tyson. and the duo shared a healthy on and off-screen bond. ‘Iron Mike’ appeared on many episodes of his shows. As soon as the news of his death broke out, the American boxer couldn’t stop himself from posting a picture with the TV host.

In fact, Tyson once appeared on his show with his old foe, Evander Holyfield. That episode still ranks among Larry King’s finest chitter-chatter with sports personalities.

Mike Tyson remembers Hank Aaron

As mentioned above, Tyson had enormous friends across different sporting and entertainment verticals. One such friend was Hank Aaron. In the aforementioned Instagram post, Tyson paid tribute to Hank Aaron alongside Larry Holmes.

Just like King, Aaron too lost his life to the dreaded virus.

Aaron was a baseball legend who played for almost 2 decades. He was a renowned home run king who hit 755 home runs and held the most vibrant record in the sport for over 30 years.

Tyson and Aaron both excelled in their sports. The American duo shared a colossal bond, and Aaron’s death staggered his fans, including the pugilist.
