Boxing legend Mike Tyson has not had the best years. The former heavyweight champion has struggled with health problems over the past few months and was spotted in a wheelchair at the Miami Airport. Iron Mike later revealed that this was due to a sciatica flare-up in his lower back.

However, Tyson is ready to step into the public eye once again as he will headline a local fundraiser and boxing event. Shane Manney, CEO, and director of the ministry at 5 Stones Fight Club in Annville revealed that Tyson, along with boxers like Mickey Ward, is set to appear at a VIP dinner and 15-fight boxing match set for late October in Palmyra.

This was all made possible by Manney’s trainer Alan Blyweis who has previously sparred with Tyson. “Alan spared with Tyson, Lennox Lewis. He’s been around for a while. His boxing history is pretty good,” Manney revealed in an interview. Moreover, Manney also revealed that he and Blyweis were partners for over 15 years and met after Blyweiss decided to hang up his gloves. Following this, the two have spent their time developing the boxing gym that doubles as a church and Christian mission.

Moreover, there will also be a VIP dinner at the event featuring pro fighters, including Tyson. The cost of entering this dinner is set at $100 per person, with a capacity limited to 300 people. However, the price for general admission is $25, while a ringside seat will cost $65. The gym also has an offer to sit at a 10-seat ringside table for $2,500, which will feature visits with all the veteran guest fighters.
