Jake Paul reflects on the stupidest thing he ever did after suffering a million-dollar loss. In an exclusive interview with Graham Bensinger, the social media personality detailed how his inner circle took advantage of him and stole $3 million.

‘The Problem Child’ recalled those days when he was not a boxer. His videos were the rage on YouTube and he was making millions really fast. Since cash was flowing in stacks, the 25-year-old never noticed the expenses. This gave an opportunity to his inner circle to steal roughly $3 million in various ways.

“When you are young and you start to make millions of dollars really fast, you have people on your team who take advantage. Redirecting some money here, they are overcharging you for hours. They are making you buy insurance policies, so they get a percentage on, you know, little things like that. I really never looked at my expenses,” Paul said.

Though he believes that it was the stupidest thing he ever did, he learned a lesson for life.

How did Jake Paul realize that he was taking advantage of it?

According to Paul, one day when he woke up, he found that fifteen employees were around him in his house. Chaos in his head popped various questions. He cross-checked the relevance of those employees whom he had not even hired. A reasonable self-interaction helped him to figure out that they were not even worth paying.

Later, he sought his trusted adviser along with his father. After investigating everything, they uncovered that millions of dollars had disappeared from different accounts.

This gave him a reality check and eventually, he realized how he was taken advantage of.
