According to his recorded statements, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions wants to come together with ‘Money’ and be a powerhouse. The search goes on

Canelo Alvarez has already surpassed Mayweather‘s wins in boxing. However, it is also true that Alvarez has suffered losses, something that is unknown to Mayweather in professional boxing. In addition, Alvarez’s first loss came from the hands of ‘Money’ himself. De La Hoya promoted Alvarez during the Mayweather vs. Alvarez event with great hopes.

However, the Mexican fell short and could not deliver what was expected of him. This time, although it is not a direct contest with Mayweather, De La Hoya can certainly keep hopes for ‘Zurdo’ to shatter records, including that held by Floyd Mayweather. As it seems, for De La Hoya and his team, the search still goes on.

Has Oscar De La Hoya really got over Floyd Mayweather? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
