Three years ago, on 14th September 2019, Tyson Fury fought Otto Wallin for twelve three-minute rounds. In the third round, while the two exchanged shots, Fury absorbed a punch that caused a gash over his right eye. Although Fury did enough to win his rounds, there were moments where Wallin had ‘The Gypsy King’ in trouble. Despite the severe and annoying cut, Tyson Fury held on till the end of the bout. In the end, he won via a decision.

Fans engage in a discussion over Tyson Fury cut
Following his last fight with former training partner Dillian Whyte, Fury took a temporary retirement from the game. After Oleksandr Usyk beat Anthony Joshua for the second time, Fury announced his willingness to un-retire and return to the sport. Hopefully, in the near future fans will see Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury. However, before that, here is what they have to say about the severe Tyson Fury cut.

I honestly think if it wasn't a big name fighter, the Dr should have not fury carry on. It was a brutal cut.

To this day I'll argue that this fight should've been stopped and Otto Wallin credited with the victory. Fury's corner went through an industrial sized container of vaseline during this fight.

The fans went on. Even though Fury received a cut in the Wallin fight, they believed Fury to be a much better boxer than Wallin. According to some of the fans, ‘The Gypsy King’ should not have a problem fighting Usyk.
