Ryan Garcia, after having much rigmarole, concerns, and delays, finally has a fight in the line. The undefeated star is all set to lock horns with Emmanuel Tagoe on April 9. Garcia wanted to come back and trace his roadway to the lightweight gold yet again. That said, this fight will help him big time to insert his cards for a big fight ahead.
Many biggies want to see ‘King Ry’ go up against the unified lightweight champ, George Kambosos Jr. Recently, Robert Garcia weighed in on this matchup.
Speaking with the Little Giant Boxing, he said, “I think Ryan beats him and look no disrespect to Kambosos or Centennial. Because Ryan’s just too fast and strong man, he’s fast and strong. I think he knocks him out.”

Ryan Garcia‘s last fight in the professional circuit came in January 2021.
The internet star outclassed Luke Campbell to bag the WBC interim lightweight title. However, he got stripped of the same because of inactivity. That said, this fight with Emmanuel Tagoe will help him get a hang of the ring again, and possibly take him a step closer towards a fight with a biggie.
On the other hand, Kambosos Jr. pulled off an upset last year by dethroning Teofimo Lopez as the unified champ.
He himself is keenly waiting to defend his straps against a noteworthy name. That said, Ryan Garcia’s name is bursting into the scenes as he’s slated to come back now. But will Garcia really get a title shot if he beats Emmanuel Tagoe?

‘King Ry’ will have to prove his case by bagging at least 2-3 wins this year. Post that, he might slide into title conversations again.
