‘Tank’ Gervonta Davis will face Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero in a highly anticipated showdown on Saturday. The attention of the world and the entire lightweight division is on the bout and a former WBC interim lightweight champion provided his take on the same. ‘KingRy’ Ryan Garcia’s prediction was a rather surprising one.

Garcia was at the Barclays Center for the Davis vs Romero showdown when he was interviewed by a correspondent from FightHype. In conversation, when asked about his thoughts on the possible outcome of the fight, Garcia said, “I’m gonna go with Rolly for the win.”

“I know y’all looking at me like I’m tripping… if it goes from nine and under, by knockout Rolly’s. Anything above, I see Tank winning by decision or knockout.”

He further added, “But, if I’m gonna, if I gotta be specific, I’m gonna say Rolly’s and two.”

Garcia, who asked FightHype to replay his prediction on video if it turns out to be true, also requested them to ‘clown’ him if it went wrong. Subsequently, ‘KingRy’ expressed his desire to face Davis if ‘Tank’ emerged with his undefeated record intact.

Gervonta Davis vs Rolando Romero

Gervonta Davis was initially scheduled to fight Rolando in December 2021. However, Romero withdrew and was replaced by Isaac Cruz as Davis’ contender. Later on, ‘Tank’ Davis was instructed by the WBA to face ‘Rolly’ Romero for a mandatory title defense.
